Our commitment to sustainable innovation
At Your Workspace, sustainability is at the heart of every decision. From design and materials to logistics and installation, we embed environmental responsibility into every stage of our process.
- 100% UK manufacturing
All products are made within a three-hour radius of London to minimise transport emissions and support the local economy. - Low-impact logistics
Up to 90% of our projects are London-based, and our in-house teams are never more than an hour away – reducing carbon emissions during delivery and aftercare. - Sustainable materials
We prioritise recycled, recyclable and responsibly sourced components. - Zero-waste packaging
Shrink wrap is biodegradable, cardboard is fully recyclable and edging protectors are re-used. - Waste to energy
Any manufacturing waste is converted into energy to power our factory.
Circular economy
Unlike traditional fitted storage, our modular solutions are designed to move with you.
Whether relocating, reconfiguring or refreshing your workspace, our systems are built to adapt.
- Deconstructable, relocatable and reusable
- Upgradeable technology and locking systems
- 10+ year product lifecycle
- Keep the carcass but refresh the doors
- Over 95% of components recyclable
- Software components are re-used

Simplicity
Less waste, more impact
Our award-winning Simplicity smart lockers are the definition of sustainable engineering.
Still in use a decade on, with systems installed as far back as 2014, they are designed to adapt, evolve and perform with minimal maintenance.

Remote management
Reduces the need for site visits.

Less raw materials
Optimised locker-to-user ratio.

Up to 40% fewer lockers
Less storage required in hybrid environments.

Charitable redistribution
Our products are built to last, but when they’re no longer needed, we ensure they continue to create value elsewhere.
Through partnerships with organisations such as Waste to Wonder, we collect unwanted lockers and redistribute them to schools, charities and community projects in developing countries.
This not only helps avoid landfill and unnecessary waste but also supports global education and infrastructure initiatives. By giving products a second life, we significantly reduce CO₂ emissions while contributing to meaningful social value projects.
This approach extends product life, promotes sustainability and helps keep our environmental impact as low as possible.
Environmental credentials
Our environmental policies are officially recognised by external industry regulatory bodies. We are certified to the Environmental Management standard ISO14001, which confirms that we effectively monitor and manage our environmental impact and carbon footprint with a view to continuously improve.
We also hold the Gold Standard Certificate and Forest Carbon certification, which support our commitment to measuring our carbon footprint and achieving net zero.
Other key measures in which we strive for the best possible rating in respect of our products’ contribution in whole-building assessments are BREEAM, WELL, SKA and LEED.
Our sustainability goals
We’re always striving to improve our sustainability credentials and reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.
We are currently workings towards Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our product ranges.
