Keys with cam locks are the most common mechanical lock used on furniture. Simple, low-tech, so easily understood. Key locks work with a single master key and are suited to securing low-risk items.
This type of lock is often used to secure personal, under-desk or end-of-desk pedestals.
Dialock- the mechanical combination lock from Digilock operates either in shared or assigned use functionality to secure workplace furniture and lockers. The Dialock operates with a dial operated numerical interface with an all metal housing brushed nickel finish.
This lock opens by entering a sequence of numbers. The sequence may be entered using a single rotating dial which interacts with several discs or cams, by using a set of several rotating discs with inscribed symbols which directly interact with the locking mechanism, or through an electronic or mechanical keypad. Types range from inexpensive three-digit luggage locks to high-security safes. Unlike ordinary padlocks, combination locks do not use keys.
The epagnolette lock is a 3-point lock that is an option on the Your Workspace cupboard range. The lock design allows for a rod to be fitted above and below the locking mechanism. Operating the lock rotates the rods which have hooks at either end that fit into sockets or brackets at the top and bottom of the cupboard. This provides greater strength and security for the cupboards and the doors. This lock features heavily within the Your Workspace Storage wall range and also is available in an electronic RFID lock version.
