Job Summary
Your Workspace Ltd are a leading manufacturer and supplier of “smart storage” and office furniture. This growing company has expanded over recent years and has established substantial contracts with many major banking, financial and retail clients. As part of the company’s continued growth plan, the business is now recruiting for an additional estimator to join our team to help achieve its future ambitions.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of CAD drafting experience who is eager to take the next step in their career. You will receive ongoing training and mentorship from experienced professionals, developing your technical drawing skills while contributing to live projects and supporting our engineering and design teams.
Main Duties
- Produce estimates and quotations through Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Prepare sales layout drawings using CAD/Fusion.
- Amend drawings to reflect clients’ alterations and re-issue for approval.
- Liaising with customers and account managers to ensure all complexities of each project are fully understood.
- Update drawing for numbering and site plans.
- Update drawing post works order issue.

Work Experience & Key Skills Required
- Experience of working in an estimating role is essential.
- Experienced in Autodesk Products; Word; Excel and project tools.
- The ability to read, understand and translate technical drawings for quoting/costing purposes.
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads for self and others.
- Liaise with customers to obtain required specifications.
- Forge key relationships with internal staff and external customers and suppliers.
The Person
- Full UK Driving Licence would be preferred.
- Competent CAD Designer with confident MS office skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing procedures
- Effective time management – able to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Must possess good attention to detail.
- Good team player, but able to work unsupervised if required.
